Deacons
The secretary and treasurer are elected for a two year term of office and are free to stand for re-election at the end of this period. Ole has been our secretary since September 2006 and Peter took over as treasurer in 2011.
Deacons are elected by the church annual general meeting for a period of three years. Our consitiution allows for two consecutive terms to be served and then recommends a sabbatical period of a year before standing again. Peter Banks and Andrew were elected for the first time in September 2007. Tim, Beryl and Jeanette were elected in 2010. Sian and Ann were elected first in 2011.

Newport Credit Union
Newport Credit Union now has a collection point at the Church each Tuesday from 10.30 to 12.30.
